OD’ing on Vitriol

Whew! I’ve really been on a bit of a rampage lately. Not just here, but here is probably where it sees the most expression. You know it’s getting bad when a coworker has to ask you to keep it down, ’cause he can hear you ranting from across the studio.

So here’s what I’m gonna do: I’ll make a concerted effort to avoid getting my dander up, at least in the blogosphere, for a full week. No guarantees that I’ll be able to keep it up (or that anything I scribble will be the least bit interesting), but I have got to at least try to calm down.

In other housekeeping news, I’ve disabled the BlogLinker links management tool for the time being. Two reasons for this: One, while it’s a nice reciprocal linking system, it’s never had a few of the customization features I was looking for — not to mention that the “sponsor credit” at the bottom always struck me as a little unwieldy. And two, BlogRolling finally came back on line for new accounts, and I’ve been anxious to try it out. So if anyone has any comments, please let me know; otherwise, I’ll keep tweaking as the mood strikes me.
