Self-Evident Hypocrisy

So Alberto Gonzales says he will (in the Post’s words) “aggressively pursue those responsible for the abuse of U.S.-held prisoners.”

So, your first act as Attorney General will be... to arrest yourself?

He goes on to say (his own words this time) that he will “no longer represent only the White House; I will represent the United States of America and its people.”

A personal note to my international readership: This psychopath will never “represent” me, or the people of the United States. He is a common thug who has no business even being considered for the role of Attorney General. But in true, goose-stepping fashion, the G.O.P. machine will most assuredly confirm him to the post.

God, sometimes I’m ashamed to be an American.
