Don’t Leave Earth Without It
Just caught the bootleg copy (the big “Do Not Duplicate” warning kinda tipped me off) of the new Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trailer. Though I’d be willing to bet it won’t be up for much longer; nab it while you can (or just wait until it’s officially released, if you must).
Sam Rockwell is gonna kick some serious ass as Zaphod Beeblebrox. I’m still laughing at his delivery of the trailer’s last line: “Ow! Zarquon! What was that?” (Trust me — go see for yourself.)
Between this and Sin City (that elusive 10-minute long Comic Con footage doesn’t appear to be around anymore, though you can still see the official trailer), April is gonna be one phenomenal month at the movies.
Maybe make up for that whole “filing taxes” thing April’s got going on.
Update: As I predicted, the bootleg copy wasn’t up for long. No QuickTime version available yet, though Amazon does have a streaming version (apparently the “world premiere”).

Is it me, or does that "streaming" preview on Amazon suck rocks?
I've got a rockin' fiber optic connection and that thing stops and buffers three times whenever I watch it. Grrrr.
Thanks for the heads-up!
Yeah, it does suck. Of course, that's just since this afternoon -- this morning, it was running smoothly.
With any luck, Apple will have it soon...
