Entering the Modern Age

Finally got the new Verizon Fios Internet service installed this morning. Quick, painless, no installation hitches...

And damn, this thing is fast.

Now all I have to do is get my home wireless network extended so I can surf from the hammock in the back yard...

What? You mean I’ve managed to outdo such an overt technologist as yourself?

I must be doing something right.

Now I just have to tap your brain to figure out how I can perform the aforementioned network extension (using an old Dual Ethernet 802.11b AirPort Base Station for starters).

The older base stations don't do extensions like that, did you get my email on this?

Yeah, I did. I was just hoping against hope that there was some kind of workaround, short of spending a whole lot of money on a new one.

Especially on the heels of getting the new iMac.
