Not Only Unethical, But Actually Evil

Let’s see... the G.O.P. response to the revelation that the CIA is holding prisoners in illegal secret prisons is not to investigate the actual policy, but to dedicate their efforts toward finding out who told the American people about it. See, the worst thing isn’t that we’re actually doing something counter to the very principles we’re supposedly fighting for (and which, of course, the Prince of Darkness himself insists is absolutely necessary), but that somebody dared to tell you.

Yeah, I know “Ignorance Is Strength” is pretty much the G.O.P.’s rallying cry, but this is just ludicrous. It’s like they’re not even pretending to have anything remotely approaching ethics.
