The Fix Is In

I’m not necessarily saying that Turd Blossom paid the right people in the Justice Department off (though I’m by no means discounting the likelihood — we are talking about a traitor here). But at the very least, he was able to use the criminal stonewalling of the White House to destroy or otherwise cover up enough of the evidence that Patrick Fitzgerald can’t file charges against him.

Now, this story is coming from Rove’s lawyer, so it’s probably far from completely accurate, but I suspect they wouldn’t have made the statement if they thought it would be disproven in the immediate future.

Justice may not be dead, but it’s sure as hell bleeding out.
